Because everything in between is the ride, and everything before birth and after death is home. It’s nice to be home, but once in a while, it’s also nice to go out for a ride, test limitations, feel what it’s like to be disconnected in a sense while ego enjoys the emotional roller coaster that we call the human experience. When we look within, we know who we really are, being part of all that is. We are one. Deep inside, it is a feeling so powerful and so comforting that we can see through the veil and understand why we are here to play, learn and experience this body, this life and all the social interactions around us. We all know this. We all know how powerful we are. But we remind ourselves everyday that we are limited in some way. Just the fact we can experience limitation at all is one of our most magnificent gifts here on Earth, because before birth and after death, limitation is only what we make it to be. Some say on Earth, it is no different, but we force those limits upon ourselves so that we can be human.
Let’s face it, if we completely detached from ego and shed the veil, there would be no reason to stay and perhaps this is why many go home when that time draws near. We never go back home until it’s our time or until we’ve finished everything we’ve set out to do in this life. Humanity see’s death as such a terrible moment when in fact it is the most incredible graduation of our kind. Death should be celebrated, for our fellow human has ascended and completed their journey. The point of transition is probably the easiest thing we will ever do. So there lies the conundrum. Trying to bring back a little bit of home while in the physical body. Not such an easy task, but yet we are there. We are at the precipice of such monumental change that will forever transform our species. Do not doubt for a second that you are living at the greatest time in the history of this planet. See it for what it is, not what you are. Look past the facade. Look past the good and the bad..look past the right and the wrong. “Out beyond ideas of right and wrong doing, there is a field. I will meet you there” ~ Rumi
